The first is mortgage protection insurance and the second is salary protection insurance. Both are there to help you cover your financial commitments should you be made redundant.

How much cover is available? - This all depends upon your salary and the cover you choose. If you need redundancy insurance to cover your mortgage the maximum monthly payment you can receive is up to 65% of your normal income and if you need Redundancy insurance to cover your salary payments are up to 50% of your normal income.
